Nicola Holmes

Nicola Holmes is a legal director in Eversheds Sutherland’s competition, EU and trade group. She has 20 years’ experience in the competition field, with a broad based practice, covering UK and EU investigations, behavioural work and merger control. She has significant expertise in dominant firm trading and pricing practices, having advised clients in diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and transport on pricing and distribution strategy for dominant or potentially dominant products. She also has experience of advising on merger control in concentrated markets.

Nicola has spent time on a long term client secondment and in the competition department of the UK Financial Conduct Authority. She has delivered highly regarded competition compliance training programmes to numerous clients in sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and financial services. She was recommended in The Legal 500 2019.
