Naďa heads the competition and regulatory practice area group. She specialises in advising Slovak and foreign clients in the area of Slovak and EU competition law. This includes representation in matters of unlawful competition restriction, cartels, organisation of distribution systems and specific issues related to entities with significant market power, and complex M&A administration.She delivers top professional advice in the area of competence and scope of power of regulatory authorities in energy and electronic communications. She is an expert in the area of energy law for the gas industry and electrical power engineering, and the legal framework and potential development of projects using renewable resources, especially combined production of power and heat. In addition, her expertise includes international arbitration.Naďa frequently contributes to professional publications and gives lectures. Naďa is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of French.Naďa carried out postgraduate studies at the College of Europe in Bruges and Brussels in 2006 and at the American University Washington College of Law, under the Humphrey Fellowship Program, in 2007-8. She received her LLM degree in 2009 from the American University Washington College of Law.As well as contributing to the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 editions of this publication, Naďa has also carried out a comparative study of US and EU antitrust concept of unilateral conduct and its current developments (March 2009) and is the author of ‘M&A Control in Slovakia’, The Slovak Spectator – Investment Advisory Guide 2008.
