Mike Walker

Mike Walker is chief economic adviser at the CMA. He oversees all economic analytical support to the CMA and leads its programme of economic research and evaluation. Mike is head of profession for the CMA’s economists, a member of the CMA’s senior executive team and an adviser to its Board. He has over 20 years’ experience as an economist. Before joining the CMA Mike was vice president at economic consultants Charles River Associates. Prior to that, he worked in industry and elsewhere in economic consulting. Mike holds academic positions at Kings College, London, and the College of Europe, Bruges. He is co-author of The Economics of EU Competition Law and has a PhD in econometrics.
