As a founding partner of De Dios & Goyena, Mr De Dios has represented local and international firms in business matters that include international contracts, international investment financing, corporate refinancing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate defence and general practice. Mr De Dios also provides consulting and representation of local and international businesses, and has concentrated his practice in the field of competition law. In the practice of international litigation, Mr De Dios has specialised in international commercial arbitration.Mr De Dios received his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (LLB) with honours in 1985 and was admitted to practise law in Argentina in 1986. In 1990, he received his Masters in Law (LLM) from the University of Miami School of Law. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1991, and practised law in the United States for a few years before returning to Argentina.Mr De Dios has vast experience with the changing international business climate. He has published several articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese in both legal periodicals and business publications.Mr De Dios is also active in the academic community. In 2001, he was a senior associate member of St Anthony’s College at Oxford University, was a visiting professor and researcher on international business matters and competition law, and economic regulation. Mr De Dios currently teaches the International Business Transactions course in Buenos Aires, offered by Southwestern University. The course is taught in English and recognised by the American Bar Association.Mr De Dios is a member of the Buenos Aires, New York, and American and International Bar associations. His areas of practice are corporate law, competition law, international contracts, and international arbitration. He speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian.
