Michel Llorens is an associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra. He works primarily in complex merger notifications and investigations of per se and relative monopolistic practices. He has broad experience in diverse industries, including chemical products, energy, oil and gas, consumer products, financial services and land transportation of passengers.
Before joining the firm, Michel worked for Pemex, where he handled midstream and downstream investigation procedures in the oil and gas industry. He also participated in investigations initiated by the Inter-American Development Bank to detect possible collusion in the highway infrastructure industry in Colombia. He has also represented several clients in cartel and relative monopolistic practices, merger notifications, leniency programme applications and governmental investigations of barriers to entry, market regulation, essential facilities and dominance proceedings.
Michel obtained a law degree from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology.
