Michael-James Currie practises principally in the field of competition law, including cartel investigations, merger control and joint ventures, abuse of dominance conduct and general competition law litigation. Michael-James has both a BCom and an LLB from Stellenbosch University, and also spent a semester at the University of Antwerp focusing primarily on competition and economic law from a European Union perspective. Michael-James has experience in competition law matters pertaining to a number of African jurisdictions, including Ethiopia, Egypt, Swaziland, Nigeria, Namibia, Zambia and COMESA.
