Michael Chapman

Michael J Chapman is a vice president of Analysis Group, Inc. He has a JD from the University of Michigan Law School; a PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and a BA in economics from University of Wisconsin.Dr Chapman specialises in the application of microeconomics and industrial organisation to a wide variety of litigation matters and complex business problems. He has served as an economic expert in intellectual property, antitrust and commercial damages cases. In addition, he has performed research, prepared economic testimony, and provided assistance to attorneys in intellectual property, antitrust, anti-dumping, securities and commercial damages matters. Dr Chapman’s work spans a broad range of industries, including: pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, semiconductors, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, steel, agricultural products and consumer goods. Dr Chapman has taught at a number of top business schools, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management, the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, University of Maryland’s Robert H Smith School of Business and Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
