Michael is a member of the competition, EU and trade practice area. His work for Taylor Wessing is focused on all aspects of European, public procurement, state aid and foreign trade law. He advises on PPP-projects and deals relating to EU and public procurement law on a regular basis. Moreover, Michael has experience in advising businesses and other organisations on state aid aspects and on the impact of existing and proposed EU legislation. Michael also advises regarding foreign trade and anti-dumping law on a regular basis. He represents both public and private clients ranging from small to large public companies.Michael studied law at the universities of Bielefeld and Muenster. In 2003 and 2006 he passed the two German legal state examinations. Subsequently, he joint the institute for German and European Company Law (University of Muenster) where he prepared a doctoral thesis on corporate law aspects of cooperative farming.
