Mélanie Perez

Mélanie Perez is an associate in King & Spalding’s antitrust practice and is based in Brussels. She has experience advising clients on complex antitrust matters, particularly dominance and cartel investigations. She regularly advises on antitrust matters involving digital markets, data, platforms and intellectual property rights. Mélanie also advises on multi-jurisdictional merger control filings and has acted for companies involved in complex Phase II merger control reviews at both the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Mélanie worked in the competition practices of other international law firms in Brussels and at the Cartels Directorate of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition.

Mélanie holds master’s degrees from Sciences Po in Paris and the University of Strasbourg and an LLM from the College of Europe in Belgium. She is fluent in French and English.
