Massimo Tognoni is a consultant at Lear. Before joining Lear in 2008, Massimo spent two years as an associate at LECG. He has advised clients on a variety of competition issues: merger control, cartel, finding of dominance, evaluation of abusive conduct (predation, margin squeeze, excessive pricing, raising rivals' costs). His experience covers a range of industries including telecoms, energy, technical gas, jet fuel, insurance, bricks, airport dealers, glass recycling and household appliance components. He has particular expertise in analysing telecommunications and electricity markets. Massimo graduated in Statistics at the University of Milan. He holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Toulouse and a PhD in Economics from the University of Bologna. He has taught industrial economics to graduate students at the University of Milan - Bicocca and at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan).
