Martina Maier is a Partner in Howrey’s Brussels Office. She is a German qualified Rechtsanwältin (attorney-at-law) focusing on European and German competition law. Martina advises clients on all aspects of competition law including merger control, single firm conduct, agreements restricting competition and state aid control. She represents private and public clients before European and national competition authorities and courts. She has experience in a variety of sectors, including postal services, automobile and telecommunications. As a recognised leader in her field, she is vice president of the Commission on Competition Law of the Union Internationale des Avocats and co-head of the Brussels representation of the prestigious Association of German Speaking Competition Lawyers (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht).
