Marius Boewe provides more than 15 years' experience of public and public commercial law, especially in the fields of environmental law, energy law and aviation law and developed a strong focus on foreign trade law.

Furthermore, his expertise encompasses diverse legal regulatory aspects as well as state aid, planning and building law. Marius advises renowned industrial manufacturers and international airlines in all regulatory aspects. Clients from all sectors seek his advice on FDI regulations in Germany, which have been subject to constant changes in recent times.

He is publisher and author of various legal books and articles, inter alia publishing the leading commentary on the German Renewable Energy Act, a textbook on investments in windparks and author of an essay on airport licensing in the leading German aviation publication. He publishes legal articles on regulatory issues, e.g. on the latest developments of the German FDI regime.

Marius is a lecturer at the University of Düsseldorf and holds a Doctor of Laws (Dr. iur.) from the University of Freiburg. Legal 500 EMEA 2021 describes Marius as "committed, focused, efficient.“

Furthermore, the German CRT team is ranked as recommended competition practice in Germany by Global Competition Review (GCR 100, 20th edition 2020).
