Ms. López Ridruejo is a Senior Associate of the Cuatrecasas EU and Competition Law team in Madrid. She has extensive experience in advising and representing national and international clients on all areas of Spanish and European competition law, including cartels, abuse of dominance, and merger control.

She advises clients on multijurisdictional cartel cases—including leniency and regulatory compliance issues—and on complex cross border horizontal and vertical agreements, such as joint venture agreements, selective distribution systems, and patent pools. She has long-standing expertise litigating in her specialty area in the Spanish and European courts.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, Ms. López Ridruejo worked in the EU, Competition and regulated market Law group of a leading law firm in Amsterdam. She is an expert in advising on corporate matters, particularly in the rail industry where she worked as an in-house lawyer from 2003 to 2004, and in the biotechnology industry, where she headed a corporate legal department from 2006 to 2009.

Ms. López Ridruejo is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Spanish Association for the Defense of Competition.

She was a visiting professor on European competition law at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
