Maggie Segall is a partner in Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP’s litigation department and a member of the firm’s antitrust practice. Her practice focuses on transactional matters, antitrust regulatory review, government investigations and general antitrust counselling. Ms Segall has advised a wide variety of clients in diverse industries, including aerospace and aviation, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, consumer products, media, manufacturing and technology. Ms Segall currently represents AerCap Holdings NV on antitrust issues in connection with its pending US$30 billion acquisition of GE Capital Aviation Services, and recently represented Mylan NV on antitrust issues in connection with its US$50 billion combination with Upjohn, a division of Pfizer, to form Viatris, and Occidental Petroleum Corporation on antitrust issues in connection with its US$57 billion acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Notably, Ms Segall advised Time Warner Inc. on antitrust issues in connection with its US$109 billion sale to AT&T, including winning the lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice seeking to block the merger, which culminated in a six-week trial. Her other clients have included Anheuser Busch InBev, Brunswick, Centrica, Delta Air Lines, DiaSorin, DreamWorks Animation SKG, HJ Heinz Company, INEOS, Pitney Bowes and Unilever. Ms Segall received her BA degree magna cum laude from Harvard College in 2003 and her JD degree cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2008.
