Dr Marcel Nuys specialises in all aspects of EU and German competition law, with particular focus on follow-on damages cases, (complex) merger control proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission, as well as abuse of dominance cases. Marcel advises clients in a variety of industries, including automotive, technology, media and telecommunications, transportation and logistics, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. Notably, he advises a number of clients in the field of digital transformation, including big data-related competition law issues.
He was recognised by the magazine WirtschaftsWoche as a leading lawyer for competition law in the German market for 2021/2022.
