Lisa Jose Fales is chair of Venable’s antitrust practice group. Lisa represents clients in complex antitrust litigation, and in US Federal Trade Commission and US Department of Justice antitrust investigations. She also works on behalf of her clients to obtain merger clearance and provides strategic advice and counseling on all aspects of antitrust law. Lisa is currently defending Perdue Farms against antitrust claims brought by three classes and more than 140 individual plaintiffs in the In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation, and in related cases brought by multiple state Attorneys General, and in other pending complex antitrust class action cases. She has also defended pharmaceutical companies in the three reverse payment class action antitrust cases brought under the US Supreme Court’s landmark decision, FTC v Actavis.
