Kurt Haegeman

Kurt Haegeman is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Brussels office, currently based in the Tokyo office as a foreign law attorney. Kurt is a member of the steering committee of the firm’s global consumer goods and retail industry group, global cartel task force and European competition law practice group.

Kurt has extensive experience in advising on antitrust investigations focusing on horizontal and vertical conduct, including dawn raid defence, and leniency strategy. Kurt assists clients regularly in the development, roll-out and policing of Europe-wide distribution systems, and has particular expertise in advising on selective distribution and online sales restrictions. He advises clients on the development and implementation of global competition compliance programmes.
