Kent Karlsson

Kent Karlsson is one of the founding partners of Kastell. Prior to forming Kastell, he was responsible for Linklaters’ competition law team in Stockholm for nearly 10 years. In all, Kent has worked for 25 years within his area of expertise, including a 10-year period in Brussels in the 1990s. He assists companies and investment banks with analyses in connection with potential mergers and acquisitions, preparation of merger control filings and negotiations with the relevant competition authorities. Kent also advises companies on other competition law issues affecting corporate policy and strategy. Moreover, he represents companies before authorities and courts in contentious competition matters.  During his years in the profession, Kent has worked on many high-profile cases in Stockholm and Brussels, consistently obtaining high rankings in market surveys and global legal directories. In addition to competition law matters, Kent has also acted as an adviser in several Euro-litigation cases before the Swedish Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court.
