Kamya Rajagopal

Kamya Rajagopal is a senior associate based in the New Delhi office of AZB & Partners.Kamya advises on a variety of contentious and non‐contentious competition law issues, including compliance mandates. She has been involved in major investigations into cartels and abuse of dominance issues, as well as merger control proceedings, before the CCI, the Indian appellate bodies/courts, the European Commission, the (UK’s erstwhile) Office of Fair Trading and the UK Court of Appeal.She routinely acts for clients in the industrial, technology, pharmaceutical and automotive segments, before the CCI, High Courts and the COMPAT, on high-profile cartel and abuse of dominance matters. In addition to contributing regularly to leading international publications on competition law issues, Kamya participates in policy discussions, which include representations to the CCI on proposed amendments to the Competition Act, 2002 and associated Regulations.Kamya is qualified to practise in India, England and Wales, and the State of New York. She received her BA LLB (Hons) in 2007 from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (India) and her Masters in Law (LLM) in 2012 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia (USA).
