Joseph Farside is an associate at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, practising in areas of antitrust and competition. Mr Farside regularly advises clients of all types on merger control issues in the United States, including assessments of whether proposed mergers may violate the Clayton Act and on related Hart-Scott-Rodino Act issues. Mr Farside also has experience working with foreign antitrust counsel on merger control issues outside of the United States. Mr Farside has handled merger control for small transactions to those involving US$8.8 billion across the following industries: healthcare, pharmaceuticals, insurance, cosmetics, equipment manufacturing and biotechnology, among others. Mr Farside also represents clients in antitrust litigation matters, including major multidistrict antitrust cases such as In re Insurance Brokerage Antitrust Litigation and In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litigation.
