Jooyoung Park

Mr Jooyoung Park is a senior foreign legal consultant of Shin & Kim’s antitrust group. Recently joining the firm after a stellar 13- year enforcement practice with the KFTC, Mr Park brings to Shin & Kim multiple enforcement expertise and background, covering all areas of Korean antitrust laws, as well as the consumer protection and general corporate laws. During his 13 years with the KFTC, Mr Park served as a high-ranking official in charge of multiple bureaus within the KFTC including the Marketing Monitoring Bureau, the Consumer Protection Bureau, the Competition Policy Bureau, and also served as the General Counsel (Director) of the KFTC. As a KFTC official, Mr Park played a pivotal role in many high-profile cases involving critical issues in monopoly, competition policy, market monitoring, and consumer protection. Throughout his 13 years with the KFTC, Mr Park was frequently involved in the amendment work on all areas of Korean antitrust laws.
