Jesús has a master’s degree in law, economics and public policy from Instituto Ortega y Gasset – Universidad Complutense de Madrid and with postgraduate studies in consumer law at Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, Toledo. Moreover, he is professor of competition law at Universidad de Piura – Lima. He has been a director at the Agency for Environmental Assessment and Enforcement (OEFA) of the Ministry of Environment. He has also been a legal coordinator at the Defence of Competition Chamber of INDECOPI’s Tribunal. Currently, He is chief of the Technical Secretariat of the Commission for the Defence of Free Competition at INDECOPI and a member of the Administrative Tribunal for Users of Tele-communication Services at the Supervisory Agency for Private Investment in Telecommunications (OSIPTEL).
