Jenny Connolly
Jenny is a partner in the Freshfields antitrust group and is based in Hong Kong and London. She is co-head of the firm’s technology sector group and has served as an elected member of the Freshfields Partnership Council, the governing body of the firm, for six years.Jenny advises on all aspects of European and Chinese competition law, as well as the coordination of transactions and investigations that require multi-jurisdictional analysis. A significant part of Jenny’s practice has involved advising clients in complex corporate transactions, defending clients in market dominance and cartel investigations and acting in major sectoral and abuse inquiries.She was educated at Swarthmore College in the US, graduating with high honours in history, philosophy and political science. She holds a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Chicago Law School. She is jointly qualified in the US and the UK.
