Jaroslav Ružička

Dr Ružička is the managing partner and one of the founders of Ružička Csekes s.r.o. Throughout his professional career, he has focused on real estate and construction law, corporate transactions, competition & antitrust and infrastructure projects. He regularly advises foreign investors who plan to enter the Slovak or Czech markets.Between 1988 and 1992, he studied and taught at universities in Germany, Hungary and Russia and worked as a trainee with the Government Office. During this period he published various articles on legal theory and co-authored many scientific papers and monographs.In 1992, he served as a member of the Expert Committee of the Justice Ministry of the Slovak Republic responsible for judicial reform (particularly of the constitution of administrative judiciary). Between 1993 and 1995, he served as a member of the Government Legislative Council and a representative of the government of the Slovak Republic in the establishment of the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights – UN programme in CEE, acting as its executive director from 1994 to 1995.From 1995 to 1996, Jaroslav worked as an advisor to the deputy chairman of the government of the Slovak Republic on special aspects of new legislation. Between 1993 and 1996 he was an external member of the board of directors of Istrobanka, a.s., Bratislava. He was the president of the Austro-Slovak Chamber of Commerce between 1998 and 2002 and has been its first deputy president since 2003.Jaroslav is fluent in German, English and Russian.Jaroslav received his PhD in administrative law in 1989.
