Jan Magne Juuhl-Langseth is partner and head of EU/EEA and competition law at Simonsen Vogt Wiig. Juuhl-Langseth has advised in competition cases before the NCA, the EFTA Surveillance Authority and the Commission. He has coordinated several multinational merger notifications and frequently advises in international competition law matters for large multinational corporations within a wider range of sectors. He also has experience litigating before the Norwegian courts, the EFTA Court and the European Courts. Recent merger cases include Leif Hübert/Norsk Stål (JV with Tata Steel, creating Norway’s leading steel distributor), TeliaSonera/Tele2, Life/Validus (retail and wholesale of health food and products) and SAS’s divestment of subsidiary regional airline Widerøe.
