James Somerville advises clients in relation to competition and consumer law risks in a range of sectors. His areas of expertise include mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, supply and distribution arrangements, cartels, ACCC investigations and ACCC enforcement proceedings. James re-joined Allens after almost 10 years working for the in-house legal group at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and brings his experience of advising the regulator in a range of significant enforcement, merger and authorisation matters.
