Ian Li

Ian Li is an associate in BLG’s Toronto office and specialises in competition and antitrust law as a member of the firm’s competition/antitrust and foreign investment practice. Mr Li’s practice includes complex and multi-jurisdictional antitrust class action proceedings, proceedings before the Competition Tribunal, and advocacy on behalf of the approval of complex mergers and acquisitions with the Competition Bureau. He has acted for clients in major national cartel cases, including those involving auto parts and airline cargo services and major mergers including the acquisition of Petro-Canada Lubricants by HollyFrontier Corporation, the acquisition of Fyffes plc by Sumitomo Corporation, and the acquisition of BWAY Corp by Stone Canyon Industries LLC.
