Ian R Conner is a deputy director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition. He joined the FTC from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a partner in the antitrust and competition group. Prior to entering private practice, Conner was a trial attorney in the Transportation, Energy and Agriculture Section of the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, which he joined through the Attorney General's Honors Program. He also served as a Special Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia.
