Herwig mainly advises on all sorts of IP transactions, including in particular technical IP rights, technology transfers and trademarks. As well as counselling on and representing clients in technology transactions such as licence agreements, R&D cooperations and IP-related M&A, he is active in contentious patent and other IP related matters.
He studied in Heidelberg and Speyer. He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 1999.
Herwig is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR), Licensing Executives Society (LES) and Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP).
Herwig speaks German and English.
