Henning Wienstroth is a German qualified attorney (Rechtsanwalt) working in the Hamburg office. He focuses on IP and antitrust litigation, as well as capital markets cases and white collar crime-related internal investigations.Henning’s IP and antitrust practice concentrates on the intersection of intellectual property and antitrust law, in particular on the antitrust implications in connection with the enforcement of standard-essential patents and FRAND licensing. He also advises clients during investigations by the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office covering all aspects of European and German competition law and in follow-on damages claims.Henning further focuses on capital markets cases and white collar crime-related internal investigations and has successfully represented clients in corresponding regulatory disputes against the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the US Department of Justice.Henning Wienstroth studied law at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, and at the University of Cambridge in England. After his studies he worked as a research and teaching assistant at Bucerius. He completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Appellate Court in Hamburg.
