Heinrich Kühnert

Heinrich Kühnert is an associated partner in the competition law practice group of bpv Hügel. He specialises in EU and Austrian competition law, with a particular focus on European and Austrian merger control and international cartel cases. Prior to joining bpv Hügel in 2011, Heinrich worked as a principal associate in the antitrust, competition and trade group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.Heinrich studied law at the universities of Vienna (Mag.iur., Dr.iur.), Fribourg/Switzerland and Oxford (MJur). Following his studies, he completed a stage in the competition group of the European Commission’s Legal Service.
