Georgia Tzifa is a senior associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale). She specialises in EU competition and regulatory law. Ms Tzifa represents clients in complex merger proceedings before
Ms Tzifa represents clients in complex merger proceedings before the European Commission and advises in global cartel investigations (adverse and settlement procedures) in a broad range of industry sectors. Her practice also covers state aid (including litigation before the EU courts), EU data protection law and international trade law.
Before joining WilmerHale, Ms Tzifa completed a Blue Book traineeship in a cartels unit of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition. Prior to that, she worked as an associate at a leading Greek law firm specialising in competition law, public procurement and commercial litigation, and as a research assistant in the fields of European and comparative constitutional law at the University of Athens.
