Franklin Rubinstein is an antitrust partner in the Washington, DC, office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC. His practice encompasses a wide variety of antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investigations by the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, litigation, criminal investigations and counselling on issues such as distribution, monopolisation, tying, exclusive dealing, price-fixing and antitrust compliance. Franklin’s work includes representation of a diverse set of clients in the software, computer hardware, pharmaceutical, medical device, gaming, automobile, natural resource, internet and media industries. Franklin has worked on a number of notable matters in recent years including Google’s acquisition of ITA Software, Seagate’s acquisition of Samsung’s hard drive business, and the Federal Trade Commission’s investigation of Google. Franklin received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School and his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College.
