Fang Qi

Fangda Partners

Fang Qi is a partner resident at Fangda Partners' Beijing office. Fang's primary practice areas cover intellectual property-related transactions and litigation, and antimonopoly litigation. Fang has extensive experience working with telecommunication, pharmaceutical, biotechnical, petrochemical and manufacturing companies. Fang's work at Fangda Partners focuses on assisting the clients in protecting their technical know-how and inventions, navigating regulatory compliance requirements, and defending claims of intellectual property infringement.Fang has appeared before the Supreme People's Court and many provincial people's courts in complex competition and intellectual property civil litigations on behalf of his clients. Fang has written extensively on all areas of the competition and intellectual property laws, and is the co-author of ‘Intellectual Property Rights in China' (Westlaw, Business Laws of China, 2011). Fang graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and article editor of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review.
