Elizabeth Farina

Farina has been a professor at the University of São Paulo since 2000. From 2002 to 2004 she was the head of the department of economics at the University of São Paulo. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of São Paulo in 1983 and a Habilitation (Livre Docencia) in 1996. She served as president of CADE (the Brazilian Competition Commission) from 2004 to 2008. Currently she is vice chair of the department of economics at USP and teaches Industrial Organisation and Microeconomics in the same department.Farina has been an affiliate of LECG LLC since November 2008 and of Tendências Consultoria Integrada since 2009.
