Elena Cortés

Elena Cortés is an associate in the antitrust and competition practice of Baker Botts’ Brussels office. She has experience in merger control proceedings both before the Spanish competition authority and the European Commission. In this regard, Elena has advised large clients in the media, energy, financial and IT sectors. She also has experience in carrying out antitrust compliance programmes, including training, mock dawn raids and audits for major international companies, as well as experience in advising clients on cooperative agreements, distribution and licensing issues and related topics mainly in the IT and consumer goods fields.
