Carolina is a partner in the corporate department of Baker & McKenzie Colombia and she currently leads the competition practice of this firm. Her areas of practice include antitrust or competition law, consumer protection, mergers and acquisitions, information technology and privacy law. Carolina has actively advised clients in competition, corporate matters and merger and acquisition processes in Colombia during the last 15 years.Carolina received her Law degree from the Universidad de Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) in 1995, a degree from the same University in International Contractual Regimes in 1997 and a Masters degree in Law (LLM) from the University of London (London School of Economics and Political Science) in 2001.She has prepared articles related to competition topics in Colombia and on the developments of electronic commerce from a legal perspective. She has acted as lecturer of competition law in pregraduate and postgraduate levels at the prestigious Universidad de los Andes and as invited lecturer at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, in Bogotá.
