Dr. Martin Sura

Martin Sura heads Hogan Lovells’ German Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation practice, which is one of the leading competition law practices in Germany. Martin advises German and international clients on all aspects of EU and German competition law, including litigation both before the EU and German courts. 

Martin’s recent contentious work for clients has particularly focused on the automotive, energy, environmental services, financial services as well as retail and consumer goods sectors.

Martin is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and has co-authored a number of books on competition law. He contributes to the chapter on EC Regulation 1/2003 in a leading German language commentary on EC and German competition law. The relevant German and international directories refer to Martin as a leading individual or frequently recommended practitioner in Germany. Martin also is a nominee in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2015.
