Deswin Nur

Deswin currently leads the international cooperation division of Indonesia's competition commission, the Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU). Heading the division has led him to much involvement with many international and regional fora, including OECD, ICN, UNCTAD and ASEAN. His main task is to manage communication and contribution to internationals, technical assistance and international agreements on competition. He has been part of the KPPU for 10 consecutive years, and has enjoyed experiences in many areas, such as policy analysis, research, investigation and strategic planning. He also actively contributes to a number of publications on competition law and policy, including KPPU's magazine, Global Competition Review, Competition Policy International Journal, and Kosei Torihiki, as well as managing his personal blog on Indonesia's competition law and policy (http://indocomnews.wordpress.com). He received his master's degree in financial management from the University of Indonesia, and now lives in the Serpong area with his remarkable wife and son.
