Based in Hong Kong, Connie is one of two partners leading our Hong Kong antitrust, competition and trade (ACT) practice group. Connie also leads the firm’s IP/TMT practice in Asia. She advises in the technology, media and telecoms sector, health-care and consumer and retail products sectors. Her focus is on commercialisation of IP rights, with a particular specialisation on how such agreements are affected by the antimonopoly laws.Connie gained extensive competition law experience in Australia (where she practised for 11 years before moving to Hong Kong) advising on provisions of the Trade Practices Act. Connie is a regular contributor to Global Competition Review and publications including Computer and Telecommunications Law Review. She is also on the editorial board of Patent World and is the sub-committee chair for the Asia-Pacific region for the INTA Bulletin Committee.
