Christy is a senior associate in the Hong Kong office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (on secondment from the London office) and a member of the firm's antitrust, competition and trade group.He advises on all aspects of competition law, in particular merger control and behavioural issues (including defending clients in a number of confidential cartel cases and market investigations brought by UK and EC regulators). He has experience of a broad range of industry sectors, including health care, consumer and retail products, infrastructure and private equity. His clients include Tesco, Hanson, Cinven, Spire Healthcare, Scottish & Newcastle and GE Money.Christy is a member of the International Bar Association's antitrust committee India working group, and has contributed to various IBA submissions on the proposed Indian competition regime. He was educated at University College London (BA First Class) and the London branch of the College of Law, and also holds a postgraduate diploma in EC Competition Law from King's College London.
