Christine Laciak is an associate in the antitrust group in Freshfields’ Washington, DC office. She counsels clients on merger control, civil non-merger litigation, and antitrust compliance matters. Christine has significant experience related to the CFIUS review of notifications submitted under Exon–Florio in connection with acquisitions of national security-related assets by foreign purchasers. Her recent matters include advising German multinationals on their acquisitions of US defence contractors, a Swiss engineering company on its sale to a UK-based multinational, and a Dutch aerospace financing company on its acquisition of a US-based company. Christine received her JD from the University of Chicago and her BA from the Catholic University of America, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
