Chester Toh

Freshfields Bruckhaus DeringerChester Toh is a senior associate based in our Hong Kong office. His main areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions, private equity, sectoral and general competition law, including merger control and competition law compliance. Chester regularly assists multinational companies with the antitrust aspects of their cross-border M&A transactions.Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he worked in one of the leading Singapore law firms in both the corporate and competition law practice groups. During his time in Singapore, Chester was actively involved in the consultation process for the enactment of Singapore's Competition Act and advised a number of multinational companies on competition law compliance and enforcement.
