Carla Rita Palma is a litigation and trial associate in the Washington, DC, office of Latham & Watkins. Her practice focuses on antitrust, complex commercial litigation and white-collar defense and investigations. Ms Palma received her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. Ms Palma served as executive editor of the Georgetown Law Journal’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure. While in law school, Ms Palma served as a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and as a judicial intern for Judge Susan D Wigenton on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Currently, Ms Palma serves on the Associates Committee of the Network for Victim Recovery of DC, an organization that provides pro bono advocacy, case management, and legal services to survivors of crime in the District of Columbia.
