Ben heads up our team of reporters in New York and Washington, DC. Since joining GCR in May 2018, he has tracked US enforcement and reported from the courts and Capitol Hill. He provided in-depth coverage of government challenges to Tronox/Cristal, Wilhelmsen/Drew Marine, Ottobock/Freedom Innovations, CVS/Aetna, T-Mobile/Sprint and two criminal trials against former currency traders accused of fixing exchange rates. He has a particular interest in competition matters related to intellectual property and the effect of political influence on antitrust enforcement.
