Aris L Gulapa is a partner at C&G Law. He specialises in corporate and commercial transactions, particularly banking and structured finance, real estate transactions, project finance, government projects/bidding, and investments. He also has substantial experience in trade regulation (particularly ASEAN trade law), competition law (he assisted Harry First, the former chief of the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General of New York, in analysing global trends in antitrust law enforcement), and licensing, distributorship and other intellectual property concerns.Aris teaches at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. Among other subjects, he has taught ASEAN economic law and foreign and comparative law, and in the latter he lectures on comparative competition law.
