As an associate at Hogan Lovells, Ana Laura Pongeluppi focuses on corporate transactions and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, specialising in acquisition finance, and advises issuers, underwriters, placement agents and investors on public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, with a particular focus on capital markets and securitisation transactions originating in Latin America. Ana has significant experience in structured finance, distressed assets, securitisation, and capital markets in a range of sectors, both in Brazil and internationally.
In addition, Ana advises on Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) disclosure, compliance and corporate governance matters. She has represented companies spanning a number of industries, particularly in the infrastructure, real estate, technology, automotive, and financial services sectors.
Ana obtained her law degree from the University of São Paulo in 2016, where she is also pursuing an MBA focused on business. In 2017 and 2018, she attended two conferences as a Brazilian representative about Globalized Markets, Risks and Opportunities at Harvard Law School.
