Amelia is a special counsel in Gilbert + Tobin’s competition and regulation group. She has extensive Australian and global experience across the spectrum of competition and consumer protection law. Amelia has particular expertise in complex multi-jurisdictional and domestic merger review and consumer protection matters.
Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin, Amelia was an antitrust associate in the London office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, practising EU and UK competition and consumer law for over three years.
Amelia regularly advises global and major clients in a diverse range of industries including retail and consumer goods, aerospace and aviation, financial services, agriculture, infrastructure, information technology, financial services and energy. Amelia’s experience includes having advised clients in relation to AB InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller, GrainCorp’s sale of its bulk liquid terminals, Ferrovial’s sale of Broadspectrum to Ventia and MYOB’s acquisition of GreatSoft.
