Alvaro Pliego Selie

Alvaro is a senior associate in our antitrust, competition and trade practice group in our firm's Amsterdam office. He is an all-round (EU) competition and regulatory lawyer with specific expertise in; representing companies in EU & national procedures concerning cartels, abuse of dominance, state aid, sector regulation & merger control (EU Commission, Dutch Competition Authority, EU & Dutch Courts); civil court litigation in the field of EU/ competition law (including follow-on damages), competition law aspects of (international) transactions and multi-jurisdictional merger control filings. He also advises on EU law (free movement, competition law, state aid), public procurement law, general administrative law, regulatory (incl. telecom, energy, gambling, permits, subsidies, environmental).
