Ronan Harty is a partner in Davis Polk’s Litigation Department. He provides general antitrust counseling to U.S. and non-U.S. companies and represents clients in enforcement agency investigations, domestic and cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures, and litigations.
Mr. Harty joined Davis Polk in 1986. He received a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College, Dublin with first class honors in 1984. In 1986, he received an LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was awarded a Cook Fellowship for Legal Research. In 1991, he served as an assistant (stagiaire) in the Cabinet of Sir Leon Brittan, Vice President of the European Communities Responsible for Competition Policy.
